Ansadesk.

Quick start

Ansadesk installs with a single script tag. Paste it once and visitors can chat with you from any page.

1. Create a workspace

Sign up and create your first workspace. A workspace gets its own inbox, branding, AI knowledge base, and a public widget key (it looks like wk_…). One workspace per site keeps inboxes, branding, and AI knowledge separate; share a workspace across sites for a combined inbox.

2. Copy your embed snippet

In your workspace, open Settings → Widget to find your ready-to-paste snippet with your key filled in. It looks like this:

<script
  src="https://YOUR-ANSADESK-HOST/widget.js"
  data-workspace-key="wk_…"
  async
></script>

Replace YOUR-ANSADESK-HOST with your Ansadesk host (the Settings page does this for you). The widget is dependency-free, around 4 KB gzipped, and renders inside a Shadow DOM so it can never clash with your site's CSS.

3. Paste it on your site

Drop the snippet in your site's HTML, just before the closing </body> tag. The same snippet works on every page and every site you own. That's the entire integration.

What visitors see

  • A launcher bubble (bottom-right or bottom-left) in your brand color, with an unread-count badge.
  • A chat panel with your title, an online/away status dot, an optional greeting message, and live agent replies with a “… is typing” indicator.
  • Message history that survives reloads and return visits — the widget stores an anonymous id in localStorage, not cookies, so it works under strict cookie policies and on any origin.
  • An offline email-capture banner outside your business hours, and a 👍/👎 satisfaction prompt when a conversation is closed.

See it working

Open your inbox at /{workspace}/inbox in one tab, then open the demo page on your Ansadesk host in another — it's a fake customer page with the widget embedded, wired to your first workspace. Message yourself and watch it arrive in real time.
